Self Regulation

Self Regulation

This is control by one self without intervention by external bodies. In our case we are supposed to abide by the axle load limits and other laws of Kenya without external enforcement to abide.

It is necessary to know the permitted axle load limits and gross vehicle weights.

Triple Axle Group (12 wheels – dual tyres) 24,000

N.B

The tare weight of your vehicle (Weight of your vehicle when empty) completely affects the maximum payload that your vehicle can carry. Avoid buying those trucks with a high tare weight. While we know 3 A trucks can carry a load 16 tons this is only possible for trucks with tare weight of 10 tones and below so that GVW totals to 26,000kgs

When a supplier tells you he will supply 20 tons on a ten wheeler, there is a big possibility that you are being conned. Only trucks in trucking Sacco’s registered with Truckers Association of Kenya can ferry 18 tons. Be informed
